Building Soft Hustle, Real Glow & Big Vision at Shop Rae Rochelle
Meet Raiven Rochelle Kelleher, the visionary force behind Shop Rae Rochelle—a lifestyle brand crafted for women who are still becoming. Born out of a powerful chapter marked by motherhood, healing, and self-reinvention, her brand goes beyond fashion and candles—it’s a movement centered around alignment, softness, and self-trust.
From her signature Sip & Burn candle collection to the deeply honest eBook Still Building, Raiven speaks directly to the women doing the work—those growing, glowing, and showing up even when it’s hard. Her story is one of resilience and vision, and through her brand, she’s helping others find power in their own process.
We explored Raiven’s journey—how she started with what she had, what success means to her now, and how she’s building a business that reflects both strength and softness.
Q: What inspired you to start your business or current career path?
Raiven: I started Shop Rae Rochelle in the middle of a lot of motherhood, survival, healing, and trying to rediscover myself. I didn’t have a big budget or perfect circumstances, but I had vision. I was tired of shrinking to survive and wanted to build something that reflected the woman I was becoming soft, strong, and still figuring it out. My business became my outlet, my therapy, and now, my platform to empower other women doing the same building themselves while building something bigger.
Q: Share a challenge you’ve overcome and how it helped you grow.
Raiven: Starting a business while raising three kids while being a wife also and trying to figure everything out on my own wasn’t easy. I didn’t have a team, a big budget, or a clear roadmap just a vision and a whole lot of faith. There were days I felt like giving up, but I kept reminding myself who I’m doing this for. That challenge taught me how to be resourceful, how to pivot without quitting, and how to lead with both grace and grit. It pushed me to grow into the woman and business owner I used to dream about becoming.
Q: What does success mean to you now, versus what it used to mean?
Raiven: Success used to look like big numbers and constant hustle. Now, it looks like peace. Being present with my kids, creating work I love, and having the freedom to choose myself that’s success to me. It’s not about looking like you’ve made it, it’s about feeling aligned while you’re still on the way. That shift changed everything for me
"You’re not too late. You’re not behind. You’re not broken. Everything you’re walking through is shaping you into someone powerful. Keep going, she’s worth it.”
— Raiven Rochelle Kelleher
Q: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone in your industry just starting out?
Raiven: Start with what you have, even if it’s messy, even if you’re still healing, even if you’re broke and doubting yourself. Just begin. You don’t need a perfect plan to get started. What matters is being real, staying consistent, and building something that reflects you. That’s what people connect with. Your story is your power, and the world doesn’t need a polished version, it needs a true one.
Q: How do you nurture your mental and emotional health while pursuing big goals?
Raiven: I’ve learned that rest is productive. Taking breaks, saying no, and letting myself pause without guilt has been key. I journal, I pray, I romanticize the small moments, lighting a candle, doing my skincare, or just sitting in silence before the chaos begins. I protect my peace like it’s part of the plan… because it is. My mental health is my business plan now.
Q: What lights you up outside of work?
Raiven: My kids, hands down. Creating a life that feels good for them and for me is everything. I love quiet mornings, deep conversations, and those little soft life moments, fresh flowers, clean sheets, a glass of wine (or a cold beer) after a long day. I love dreaming up new ideas and reminding myself I’m not done yet. Spending time with my husband and friends, taking road trips, or doing something spontaneous keeps me grounded and inspired. Side story, Lol.. My whole marriage started with a little spontaneity, we’d been together for years, but we got engaged in Palm Springs and eloped in Vegas the very next day. Drive-thru chapel and all. It was wild, fun, and so us.
Q: Who are you becoming?
Raiven: I’m becoming a woman who trusts herself fully. A mother who leads with softness and strength. A businesswoman who builds boldly. I’m becoming the version of me that younger me needed and the one I used to only dream about.
