She speaks honestly about what success now means to her, how she balances multiple passions, and why showing up as your whole self—flaws and all—is the key to true transformation. This is a story about ownership, evolution, and elevating through every chapter.

Q: Can you share a bit about your business and your personal mission behind it?

Katrina: I’m partnered with Revolution Financial Management, where I not only provide financial services to individuals and families—I also help others build their own financial service businesses. At the core of my work is the belief that everyone deserves to feel safe, confident, and equipped when it comes to money.

What makes our approach different is the environment we cultivate. We’re not trying to intimidate people with jargon or overwhelm them with plans they don’t understand. We’re focused on education, empowerment, and creating conversations that feel comfortable and accessible. Whether someone is just starting to learn about saving and budgeting or they’re ready to dive into retirement strategies and investment planning—we meet them where they’re at. That’s important to me because finance used to scare me. And I want to help others move through that fear into clarity.

Q: What inspired you to start helping people with their finances? What’s the personal “why” behind your work?

Katrina: When I finally started learning about money—and I mean really understanding the mechanics of how it worked—it lit something up in me. I realized how much of my stress, fear, and shame was rooted in simply not being taught. That realization made me passionate about demystifying finance for others. I want people to feel like they can ask the “dumb” questions, because I had to ask those same questions too. It’s not about being perfect—it’s about being open and willing.

Q: Who do you serve through your business?

Katrina: The beautiful thing about this work is that it truly applies to everyone—but my heart is most drawn to serving families, married couples with kids, and homeowners who are trying to build something stable. I also love working with young adults who are just getting started, and even older parents who may have waited a long time to get their finances in order.

I like to say my range is “from diapers to Depends.” I mean that in the most loving way—because financial wellness is not age-dependent. Everyone deserves a game plan that helps them feel secure. And no matter what phase of life someone’s in, I want them to know that it’s never too late—or too early—to take control of their money story.

"If this helped me come out of fear, I know it can help someone else.” That belief became my driving force. I wanted to be the bridge for others—especially those who were intimidated like I was. And over time, that grew into a business, a community, and a personal mission.”

Q: Can you share a defining challenge that shaped your journey? Something that pushed you to change?

Katrina: Yes—one of the biggest turning points in my life happened in October 2021 when I received my second DUI. That moment was a wake-up call in every sense of the word. I realized I was on a path that didn’t reflect who I wanted to be or the life I wanted to build.

After that, I committed to healing—not just physically or emotionally, but spiritually and financially too. I started prioritizing my wellness and being honest about the limiting beliefs I held, especially around money. I had so much fear around finances, not because I was incapable, but because I had never been taught. And when I found this opportunity with Revolution Financial, it felt like I had been handed a new lens—a clear, empowering way to understand what had once terrified me.

Q: What did that initial shift into the financial world look like for you?

Katrina: It was humbling and exhilarating at the same time. When I first joined, I had no idea what I was doing. I was nervous. I didn’t feel qualified. But I kept showing up. The way the company teaches finance made it all digestible and real. It wasn’t just theory—it was applicable to my life, and I could immediately see how I could apply what I learned to help others.

I remember thinking, “If this helped me come out of fear, I know it can help someone else.” That belief became my driving force. I wanted to be the bridge for others—especially those who were intimidated like I was. And over time, that grew into a business, a community, and a personal mission.

Q: You’ve now been in business for two years—what transformation have you experienced both personally and financially in that time?

Katrina: So much has changed. On a personal level, I’ve become someone who believes in their ability to plan, grow, and build a future. I’ve let go of my identity as a “spender” and become someone who saves with purpose. I feel excited about my financial future now, where I used to feel dread or avoidance.

Financially, I’m more stable than I’ve ever been. I have savings. I’ve built a business that reflects my values. But more than that, I’m proud of how I’ve rebuilt my mindset. That’s the real wealth—knowing that I’m capable, informed, and growing every day.
