The VCBW Ojai Meetup was created from those roots: a space for local women to connect, share, and grow together in a way that feels authentic to the heart of this valley.

Like all of us I wear a ton of hats - I was lucky enough to reconnect with my childhood sweetie 11 years ago and am now fortunate to be a carpenter’s wife and the mom of an badass little girl so I’m a chauffeur, a housekeeper, the finder of all lost things and I also moon light as a Mortgage Officer which basically means I can take on the sass of said little girl and go head to head with an underwriter like no one’s business.

She is an advocate in the field, contributing to “Homeopathy Today”, “The American Homeopath” and authored “Homeopathy Handbook: Guide to Commonly Used Remedies.” 2003 she founded the LA School of Homeopathy, and a low-income clinic. 2023 she received the inaugural Education Award from the National Center for Homeopathy. Avghi is dedicated to improving health through homeopathy and continues to inspire and educate in her field.

Spending our whole lives in Southern California and majority of it in Ventura County, we wanted to create a space for people to come together and have a wonderful time! So, we took our love for creating and sharing special moments with wonderful people and turned it into our dream business. Francesca is the lead trainer and founder of Gold Yoga School which is housed under the Breathe Ojai brand; she's a deeply feeling yoga practitioner, teacher, yoga therapist, and scholar who has been teaching for nearly 20 years. She works to align her inner reality and value system with how she shows up in the world. She has a gift for guiding people through a journey of self inquiry to uncover their truest selves. Her teaching approach includes direct observation and responding in each moment to who is showing up in front of her. Her vision for the future of yoga is one that is rooted in deep reverence for its origins while adapting it to our modern world.

Gabriela is launching Emerging Innovators, an extension of VCBW designed for young professionals ages 18 to 24. This initiative provides a space for up-and-coming leaders to connect, learn, and gain access to the right resources and relationships that will support both their personal and professional growth. As a natural connector and leader, Gabriela is excited to create opportunities for young professionals to thrive.
