There comes a moment in every founder’s journey when visibility stops feeling like the answer—and alignment becomes the question.
For Catherine Salgado, that moment sparked the creation of Impact Alliances Group, a community-first brand strategy and social media consultancy built for women who are done performing for algorithms and ready to build something that lasts. Her work lives at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and soul—where brands are no longer measured by how loud they are, but by how deeply they’re trusted.
Catherine believes that real growth doesn’t come from chasing trends or inflating numbers. It comes from connection. From community. From the courage to slow down, lead with intention, and design a brand that people don’t just follow—but feel part of.
Impact Alliances Group exists to help purpose-driven female founders step into leadership with clarity, boundaries, and confidence—transforming their mission into a movement and their business into a legacy.
From Visibility to Legacy — Catherine Salgado of Impact Alliances Group
Q: What inspired you to start your business, and how has that inspiration evolved?
Catherine:
Impact Alliances Group was born from my own experience navigating burnout, pressure, and the constant push to “do more” in the digital space. I saw too many women-led brands exhausting themselves chasing visibility—posting more, performing more—without seeing sustainable growth or fulfillment.
What started as a desire to help women show up online with clarity evolved into something much deeper. I realized the real gap wasn’t content—it was connection. Brands didn’t need more tactics; they needed strategy, community, and alignment. That realization shifted everything and became the foundation of Impact Alliances Group.
Q: What’s the mission behind what you do?
Catherine:
Our mission is to disrupt the vanity-driven approach to marketing by helping women-led, purpose-driven brands scale through community, connection, and legacy.
We don’t build momentary attention—we build movements. Because when brands grow with depth, loyalty, and trust, they create impact that lasts far beyond trends or algorithms.
Q: What transformation do you help others experience through your work?
Catherine:
We work with purpose-driven female founders who are at max capacity—exhausted from chasing the next post, trend, or tactic.
Through community-centered brand strategy and digital storytelling, we help them step fully into their role as CEO. Our clients move from scattered and overwhelmed to clear, confident, and connected. Followers become advocates. Customers become regulars. And businesses transform into movements that scale sustainably.
Q: What’s something you wish more people understood about your industry?
Catherine:
Vanity metrics don’t scale.
A brand can have thousands of followers and still lack loyalty, retention, and real revenue. Sustainable growth starts with community—not trends, tactics, or algorithms. When a brand leads with strategy, shows up with intention, and prioritizes genuine connection both online and in real life, trust is built. And trust is what allows brands to scale, retain loyal customers, and confidently charge premium prices.
“Every decision I make is guided by what protects my capacity, cultivates peace, and honors the communities I serve.”
— Catherine Salgado
Q: What’s your current focus in business—and why?
Catherine:
Right now, our focus is working intentionally with women-led brands that want to scale through community and purpose—not shortcuts.
When we partner with aligned founders, we’re able to build deeper loyalty, stronger advocacy, and momentum that feels organic, powerful, and sustainable.
Q: What do you want your business to be known for in the long run?
Catherine:
I want Impact Alliances Group to be known for helping women build legacy brands—brands that outlast trends, create belonging, and shift culture.
Not businesses that simply make noise, but movements that leave a meaningful mark on the communities they serve.
The Woman Within
Q: What values guide the way you live and make decisions in this season of your life?
Catherine:
Community, courage, and boundaries are my anchors.
I’m committed to building a life and business that feels honest, connected, and rooted—not performative. I say yes where there is alignment and shared purpose, and no where there is chaos, ego, or misalignment. Every decision I make is guided by what protects my capacity, cultivates peace, and honors the communities I serve.
Q: What brings you joy outside of your business?
Catherine:
Beading with gemstones has become one of my greatest joys. It started as a way to heal from burnout—a slow, grounding rhythm that helped me reconnect with myself.
Now it’s one of my favorite creative outlets. I spend weekends designing one-of-a-kind pieces for my Etsy shop, IMPACTByCatherine, exploring nature for inspiration, and letting my hands work while my mind rests. It reminds me that life—like art—is meant to be intentional, meaningful, and a little playful.
Q: What are you most proud of in yourself right now?
Catherine:
I’m proud of the woman I’m becoming.
I no longer move from pressure, people-pleasing, or urgency. I chose alignment over burnout, integrity over approval, and purpose over hustle. I honor my boundaries, protect my peace, and build from a place that feels true and sustainable. That has taken more courage than anything I’ve ever built on paper.
Q: If you could go back and tell a past version of yourself one thing, what would it be?
Catherine:
You have such a beautiful journey ahead of you. Stop shrinking. Stop over-giving. Stop trying to earn your worth.
You don’t have to say yes to everything just to be loved or chosen. Say no sooner—so you can say a bigger, bolder yes to the life that’s waiting for you.
Q: How has growing your business mirrored your personal evolution?
Catherine:
Growing my business required me to grow myself.
Learning to set boundaries—in life and in business—has been my greatest evolution. It allowed me to choose aligned clients, take on work that truly lights me up, and build a business that scales sustainably instead of spiraling into exhaustion. Now I say “heck yes!” only to what aligns with my mission, values, and the communities I’m called to serve.
